RE: FINAL FORM of the Vision-Mission-Goals
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
I am pleased and proud to share with you the final form of the Archdiocesan vision and mission statement as well as the five general goals to insure its implementation. The final form has been studied and reviewed by the presbyterium and a selected group of parish lay leaders and religious women.
This vision and mission statement must now be disseminated to our Catholic barangay communities, pastoral stations, chaplaincies and parishes. You may also use these materials for your parish lay formation programs. You may include it in the parish missalettes or put up streamers and posters for the information of more parishioners. This statement must now be communicated and owned by all our Catholic faithful in due time.
In the next few weeks, we shall be preparing the strategic action plans to make sure each of the goals are implemented in an orderly and sustained manner. An ad hoc team composed of priests, religious and laity will prepare the action plans which will also be submitted to you for consultation and approval.
Leadership without vision is treason. Let us work together to pursue this vision of a renewed Church.
