RE: Forty Hours of Prayer for Peace
My dear people of God:
In prayerful observance of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the succeeding memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on June 15 and 16 respectively this year, we shall hold an archdiocesan FORTY HOUR DEVOTION for the preservation of peace in the Asian continent specially with regard to the ongoing dispute over the Scarborough Shoal (referred to as Panatag Shoal by the Philippines and Huangyan Island by the Chinese).
The FORTY HOUR DEVOTION will be held at the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City beginning at twelve midnight on June 15 until four o’clock in the afternoon of June 16.
The parishioners of the Annunciation of the Lord and the seminarians of Mary Help of Christians College Seminary will assume responsibility of providing Eucharistic adorers from midnight of June 15 until 7:00 o clock the following morning. The seminarians will assume the duty of adoring the Blessed Sacrament again from 7:00 pm of June 15 until 7:00 am of June 16.

June 15, Friday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am Vicariate of St Vincent Ferrer
10:00am to 1:00 pm Vicariate of Saint Dominic
1:00pm to 4:00 pm Vicariate of the Epiphany
4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Religious Women
June 16, Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am Vicariate of Sts. Peter and Paul
11:00 am to 4:00 pm Vicariate of St Thomas Aquinas
Let us consecrate our nation to the Sacred of Jesus and entrust our people the Immaculate Heart of Mary on these truly grace-filled days. A world at prayer is world at peace. Please inform everyone about this archdiocesan prayer act. All praise and thanksgiving to the Most Blessed Sacrament!
