Archdiocesan Activities for November
My dear brothers in the priesthood:
The month of November has some very important events in the archdiocese that require your esteemed presence:
1. On November 2, Wednesday, we shall have a Mass for the Departed Priests and Bishops who served the good Lord in the Archdiocese of Lingayen Dagupan, to be held at the Santuario de San Juan at 12:00 noon. We will have a fraternal lunch at the Archbishop’s House after the Mass.
2. On November 11, Friday, your presence is requested at the Saint John the Evangelist Cathedral at 10:30 am on the occasion of the national gathering for the A Million Roses for the World (AMROW) Project. We will gather eleven thousand youth and children to pray the rosary at eleven o’ clock in the morning in a project called "Eleven-Eleven-Eleven". Please come in your cassock or alb and join the praying of the holy rosary. The children and youth of our Catholic schools will also sing together with the corresponding action Asin ng Pamayanan, ICTHUS and A Million Roses for the World. It is a historic event that will be more meaningful with your participation. There will be no clergy meeting that morning.
3. On November 20, Sunday, the liturgical solemnity of Christ the King will be held in four vicariate venues, namely, San Gabriel Parish in Bonuan Boquig, San Jacinto Parish, San Juan Bautista Parish in Bautista and Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Calmay.
4. Even now, please reserve December 13, Tuesday, from 8:30 am until lunch time for our clergy advent recollection, confession and fellowship at the Archbishop’s House.
Thank you for your usual fraternal support and wholehearted cooperation. Oremus pro invicem.
